I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom of expression in your denim in the history of our nation.
Sevenscore and two years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, needle in hand, a new nation based on the ideals of denim and tough fibers. Tough like our souls.
We cannot walk alone.
We cannot turn back.
I have a dream that one day this nation will be free from ugly back pocket designs and gaudy rhinestones.
I have a dream the seams that hold our denim together will be strong, sturdy, and built to last.
You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. A rendezvous with Levi’s.
We cannot dedicate enough to or consecrate this brand. It stands for everything we are.
But our greatest strength is the power of our ideas, which are still new in many lands.
And we have many of those ideas.
Help us create more.
This post is about all the great speeches that have formed our country’s path. I collaborated a few good ones and changed the lines a little bit to incorporate Levi’s. I guess this would be something Levi’s could use if they wanted to run a patriotic campaign. Maybe something that has to go with the “Go Forth” they’re doing now. The Levi’s speech would serve to both highlight the breakthroughs of our leaders that have shaped who we are today and to encourage more speech, motivation, and action for things you think are important. This is done by incorporating classic American words with a rebellious, speak-your-mind-while-you’re-young-and-passionate mentality that seems to be what Levi’s is capturing with the Go Forth campaign.
A final call to action, that I especially, like.
Go ahead, go forth and…
She loves you very much.
